Useless

I've been having these thoughts in my head for a while (No, I'm not pregnant):

1. If I ever have a useless child, I'd sell it.
2. If I ever have a child who spends too much money(unnecessarily/wastefully! ;p), I'd sell it.
3. If I ever have a useless child who spends too much money, I'd pay for you to take it away from me!

Whilst talking to my mama the other day, I asked her what she would do if I turned out to be useless. She said: "It just won't happen, I won't let it get to that stage" [HAHA She doesnt think I'm useless!].

People aren't just born useless [nor with the innate wanting to spend money--in part, that could be blamed on societies perception&'expectations'---so you're still an idiot, but with halffuck reason]. SO WHO TO BLAME.

I still say parents----because they can so totally disown them, but they choose to tolerate their kids behaviour.

HAHAHAHAHA

-------------------------------------------------------

Omg. Yes, I wanted to write about twilight!
I know why I love and not so much love the book.

I love it because it sounds like something I would write. So that would be a mixture of LAME, and everything falling into place. [I wrote stories and everything always fitted, like I share a tent with the guy I like, My friends would share a tent with the guys they liked--I was very idealistic okay. I bet Stephenie Meyer wrote it out of her own fantasy too]

Stephenie Meyer is an OKAY writer. Her story is very---to say cliché would be too cliché and predictable sounds too similar---basically it was just very...perfect. HAHA Everything fell into place and there was no element of surprise---so that was crap!

And as my good friend Rosie said... the only thing good with that book was the sexual tension between the two main characters.

HEHE

strue. Not planning on reading the second one. Unless the movie is good :D
-----------------------------------------------------------------

Joel: Lets do something fun, we never do fun things anymore
me: YEAH!
Joel:
right? all we do is eat together and hang out in your house.
me: YEAH!
Joel: I mean eating is fine, I like spending time with you and everything
me:
YEAH! me too :)
Joel: Yeah, Lets go watch a movie.
me: -_-"

Penang lang

I havn't wished her at all. Not a text message. Nor an e-mail.
But I'll share with you what I thought was a brilliantly part of the movie 'Four weddings and a funeral'

I think (for a mourning period), it is Apt, beautiful and---I havn't found an appropriate word yet :)

------------by W.H. Auden
Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

My sincere condolences.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

So Penang trip with my parents the other day. Just Me, mama and papa and the 3and a half hour long journey! :p

My mother had a dinner to attend to over there and then a meeting the day after, so we stayed in two different hotels.
The first one was in the industrialized area (trade free zone);
The Equatorial Penang.
And the second was in town, right on Gurney Drive; The G hotel.

[Seriously, nothing beats Shangri-la's Rasa Sayang hotel.]

Equatorial
Equatorial's hotel sucked (I thought).
Nothing was nice. The food, the room, the free food, the location.
EVERYTHING.
We were booked for a Junior suite but they upgraded us to an Executive Suite (So that was the only up side)
My silly daddy, come 5star only THEN HE GIVES THE BELL BOY A TIP.
Like 5bucks is nothing to you. but for my dad, its usually NO bucks okay.

THE EXTREMELY LOUSY Fruit Basket.

pft....Some 5star hotel!

Okay and the free lounge food:
This was about the best---and thats saying alot!
Rasa Sayang gave us cocktails and mocktails and champagne and 3-tier english tea sets.

What! IS this?

*puke.
Waste of calories.

So papa brought us around Penang to eat.
His directions in the industrial area was really rusty. We even made a silly (mistake) trip back over the Penang bridge!
I'm so cool.

Anyway, we then decided that there aren't any nice areas around our hotel, so we made our way to town! :)
Lorong Selamat for Char Kueh Teow and Curry Mee :)
Yum!
Lorong Selamat. Expensive CKT but big prawns.
Curry mee is good too!
DaddyMummy!

Anyway stupid hotel Swimming Pool

Our lousy suite:
Living, Dining area

the bar (the fridge has an expired kitkat. Its rotting so bad, it smells like vinegar--urgh)

MY BED! hahahaha I watched tv the wholeeee night. Tempted to taste out their kampachi downstairs though
Hello bolster!

And my parents bedroom.

More char kueh teow in Pulau Tikus.

Anyway, the next day, daddykins with all my mum's male colleagues were off for Golf,
We had a driver to drive us all around town.
So we hit the malllllllls :)

Queensbay mall has a forever 21 yo (thats wayyy bigger than 1Us but still a tad smaller than Pavilion's!) Not so kampung after all :p

AND so began my watch hunting saga.

Had a late checkout at the Equatorial so mama and I checked in to the G hotel with one of mama's friends.
Omg. A step up even though its technically a step down (4star) :p

A view from the lounge.
Our check-in counter was on the 15th floor--which was where the lounge wass ;p
Can you see: Low tide, high tide?

Okay so the Deluxe sweet wasn't as big as the other hotel.
But everything else was better,
Swimming pool, free food, breakfast, etc. :)

Oh I slept with my mum's friend the first night haha :p

The cordoned off toilet that my dad and I BOMBED!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I have good memories and special moments in them :p
I had gastroenteritis a day or two before the trip--but I ate and ate and ate and ignored my doc's advice to cut down 70% of my meal. hehe

The bath tub overlooks Gurney drive.
I had 4 baths in total during my stay there (2 days) :p

Oh yes. I really have some winter likes;
Like wearing gloves that just came off the radiator,
Wearing a jumper that just came out the dryer,

stuffing my leg into my bed to find a hot water bottle already inside,
New bed sheets,

I now like, warm-bordering-extremely-hot baths in cold weather!

Forgot to mention my room number:

I am not kidddingggg!
I enquired about 1408 though. They said it was a normal room (as in a standard room---as opposed to anti-supernatural)

At night had Seafood by the sea (with my daddy's cousins!) ah pek.
(he insisted I called him that)

under a hut!

Gosh, I actually ate these buggers.
I swear. The things I do to make people happy.

(they ordered it for me, thinking I'd like it)
It was bearable--but the psychological part of eating it really irked me.

But I did it. ate and ate--like I enjoyed it.
Just like the next day when after my dad and I gobbled food in the lounge, I ate another dinner just to make my mother happy :( urgh. not good.

Gurney Drive by Day:

And by night!

oOoh. I finished the chicken!

Papa had an ulcer, so all he could eat is fruits....and drink his wine (to kill off the bacteria. a-parent-ly)

Indulge.
The next day wsa the best.
Daddy and I had a day together cuz mama went to work. And we basically watched TV and went to Gurney Drive Complex which was right next door to our hotel.

He bought a swimsuit for 40% off.
"You know when I was younger I used to buy Speedo's all the time, Now I just buy the lousy ones"

sure thing. Chicken wing.

Ooh!
Our last night in Penang; Went to Pulau Tikus for some hor fun:

My mama: HEY! take a picture for Joel!
Me: I already did :)
Daddy: Wow. Not bad ah. Even before he gets a degree he can start a clinic!

And my watch hunt:

When I saw Hann Yee's watch-----fell in love.
haha Immaaa get a similar one okay. Dont worry, you'll be in New Zealand, and I'll be in UK! :)

BATHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEE :)

I miss it already! haha
Bonne nuit loves,

Cuisine

Back from Penang!
I slept most of the journey back and I'm still tired, so this is going to be just a post with pictures and maybe some commentary :)
Went Ichiban Boshi (again!) with my mama, my sister, andrew and joel. Daddy was too lazy to come, and the other sister was..working.
Joel drove us in to KL---the jam was mayhorly crazy.

Cock-eyed sister and Silly Andrew

With mummy :) who had to take a train halfway through her journey because it was just that jammed

:)

The lousy soft shell crab that day

Oh and sushi zanmai's lousy emaki.

-------------------------------------------------------
Stayed in KL the other night with Joel and Fionanana.
Fiona (Joel's sister) had her prom.
and
We had Tony Romas :)

Salad (half chicken?)

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Everytime I stumble on to new cuisine, i eat it consistently frequently.

The first time eating at NewYork NewYork Deli with ZhiVen and SeeKi.
Second time was when Marcus was down in KL
and
Third time with Joel and SeeKi.

Mostly Post-Gym. ;p
Gaining back what we lost hee heee

Zhi Ven talking passionately. Theres a pic of seeki too, but she might kill me :p

ZhiVen's cheesy chicken with wedges and SeeKi and I shared a big breakfast!
yummay :)

I'm so hungry now
Goodnight

Sore cow

HELLOOOOO from my Penang hotel :)
Alright thats not very far from home but 3 and a half hours away from my choff poff is far enough hmph! (and Joel, of course :p)
Anyway, just a recent revelation...that my mother is wayyy cooler than myself. I googled her name and surname and whilst typing that out, google instantly completed her full name (I WASN'T EVEN GOING TO TYPE THAT FAR!). Not only do they know her full name, they have numerroussssss pages on her.
I need to get my name in the newspapers or summat.

On another note, Stephanie's face is going to be released on poster advertorials ALL OVER Bangkok.
This is war, people.
haha
------------------------------------------------------------------
Even stevens ZhiVen's birthday on the 8th of June. Well nobody loves him (his parents went to Australia on the day itself) so we tagged along for a "SURPRISE" dinner.

No surprise for him because he kept spying on phones that DONT BELONG TO HIM.
He also knew what his present was because he did the aforementioned.
AND he also told seeki her present before she opened it.
AND!
Yeah, you get my drift.

Celebrated at Restoran Banquet @ BangsarVillage2
(Their menu so cool)

KARMEN!
Apparently, 'better side's do exist :p
Happy belated Birthday girl! Sorry I couldnt make it to your place and couldn't contact you either!

EEEEEE! Birthday boy. Kinda cute here la. (as in, as opposed to normal times? haha)
Ada! :)
HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO YOU TOOO!! :)

Some recommendations (as food goes):

Don't order lousy fish dish.
Rationing our food..what are we? Going through war? I dont think so.

Mine was alright. Still can't get over my carbonara at shook! HAHA

sore cow acting cool. :)

aIYAH. Zhi ven's lala cake. I chose the wrong oneeeeeeeeeeeeeeee rawr! SORRY
And sorry to ah pei cuz she had to pay for lala lousy cake!

meow!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHI VEN.... MEOW! :)

Oh and those who came:
HannYee, Cki, Me, Karmen, Jimmeh, Ada, AhPei, AhVen, Brandon
And when it was just me, jimmy, cki, brandon, Hann, ZV and PW;
WE PLAYED the Concentration game in starbucks
(my girlfriend got me a free cappucino. haih. loves :])

Have a good weekend!

3desserts

I just got back from the bank--not from depositing nor banking in money----- just to use their phone. HAHAHA My dad is such a cheap banana. Basically I had to call the HSBC UK branch to get a new debit card for myself cuz my mum lost it its missing (in truth I can't remember who to blame).
Its funny cuz we went to the premier area to make that free phone call (reserved for premier account holders) and the guy on the other line was obviously waiting to serve a 'premier' customer--but my UK bank account there had like....£20 max? HAHAHA

*shy

Anyways thats it really as far as my 'interesting' story goes.

THOMAS SABO
I've been staring at allllllll their charms recently.
Stare. Stare. Stare.
Matching which goes with which, but I say they did a really good job matching:
[cbai. Joel said mine was RUSTY. I was like.. You mean RUSTIC?...he said; No. Rusty. knn]
Pink and green, I never knew went together so nicely :p

oOoh. Sparkly. Oooh Shiny. :) so girly.

Theres one in the booklet that has pearls and they matched it with some pink charms. I thought that was pretty darn smart. creamish with pink. SO sweeeet!!

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The other day, I HAD 3 freaking desserts in one day.
How amay-zing am I?
Oh Joel and I tried this silly hongki(?)Taiwanese(?) restaurant in Tropicana City Mall.
Lousy.

Gone are the days of Japanese food, I am now drawn to Italian. (It must have been the carbonara a la shook!)

Anyway! Back to the story.
My first dessert of the day was with SeeKi! :)

Went to Ministry of Food a la Pavilion (again), This time we were shopping for ZhiVens prezzie :)
mMmmmMMMMmmmm.
Her green tea ice creamy thing.
And my Chocolate bla bla thing.
Not bad not bad.
If we combined ours, we couldve eaten in haagan dazz :p
(Craving some of their ice cream right now!)

Then after dinner with my parents (at this luscious duck place), we went to SS2 for a bit of ABC (Air batu kacang). In which! My parents shared one and I had a big one for myself :) They did eat my red beans for me.
THEN later that night,
Hopped over to Nikki's place to help him pack his stuff. He was IpohBound the next morning and we had to pretend we were going through a divorce while these newlyweds were happily moving in :p

A short trip to the petrol station took us on a mini detour to the PJ Drive-thru A&W
We had those two things. Superduper chocolate eclair (lousy) and a single scoop ice cream waffle! :)
Yes I look sticky.

So does he hehee

HAVE FUN EVERYBODY.

The first of the June Babies

OMG. So while in the gym today I was watching The Daily 10 (Normally on E! channel 712 but it was) showing on AXN and APPARENTLY (and this I can't confirm cuz the gym only shows them images without the sound) the lead actor and actress of Twilight, Edward Cullen and Bella whatever, ARE DATING. omg omg.

Okay I was completely and irrevocably in love with the book at first because if you ever were a girl, and had a major crush on a guy/many guys at one go, at the tender age of pre-teen and early teen, you can sorta relate to the childish thoughts, obsession, bedazzalation---- BASICALLY, the early part made me squeal like a billion and one times.
I am lame. admittedly.

But then the story line started going downhill when they declared their love for each other, its all kinda stupid.
For bella:

Like she only loves him because he's and 'in-built' predator. Everything about him is alluring (and to quote from the book) "I'm the worlds best predator...everything about me invites you in---my voice, my face, even my smell"
So she's clearly obsessed for the wrong reason.

AND for Edward:
"Yes, you are exactly my brand of heroin"
LIKE HELLOOO? You're totally addicted to her blood, not in love with her.

Sheeash. I havn't finished the book. Can't believe I'm writing about it already. haha

-------------------------------------

So many parents must have gotten jiggy with it 21 years, 9 months and 2 weeks ago. Apologies if I put grotesque images in you mind.
Its NOT even mid June and I'm broke. I was living on nothing and now I'm living on RM30.

So the first June baby of the month. aiyah. Ms. See Ki. My girlfriend. My gym buddy. My steam room buddy. My study buddy (and by that I mean she talk, I listen :p).

Sooo Nicholas, Zhi Ven and I took See Ki to shook! a la Starhill for dindins. :)
And by 'TOOK', I mean she drove me there la but we paid for dinner. haha
I wore the ugliest thing.. but still:
*A beautiful sight
*STARE
*ew
*HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

See Ki and I
"See Ki! If you're not going to wear a nice dress on your birthday, WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO?!"
:) See the water in the glass. Freaking RM5 per bottle. meh.

Virgin Lychee Margarita. (Did I mention I kinda grew out of alcohol?)

Everyone was soooo hungry. So here are the only pictures before we dug in to our delicious yummy food.
I've tasted many food in my life but that was the best carbonara ever.
SeeKi with her weird penne stuff and apple mojito

Zhi Ven :)
Nicholas with his goose thing.

mmmmmmmm*

Sore Cow zhi ven smelling his food.
He also told SeeKi what her present was before she had a chance to open it! :p

Shared Pizza
(We were very hungry)

Haih. Dinner was so good. I was sooo happy with my carbonara.
AND THEN!
waiters burst out in song for the birthday girl:
Nikki ordered cheese cake cuz we didnt know what to get!

HAPPPPPPPYYYY 21ST BIRTHDAY
SEE KI!

person who wears a cross. weirdo :p

"Cutting the cake"

:) mata besar, mata kecil
Si kecil, sang besar.

THEN WE WENT TO HAAGAZ DAZZ!!!
SeeKi treated us this time:

The silly thing she ordered:Some fruit thing
mmmmm.. not worth the money haha sorry seeki!

What Zhi Ven ordered: NOT WORTH THE MONEY hehe

What nikki and I ordered (Ironic that the both of us only had one plate ya?)
TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY
hehehee lol. It was really good la. all of us shared everything! :P
Speaking of Haagan Dazz.
Samantha, Marcus, Zhi Ven and I went for Haagan Dazz the other day too!
FONDUUUUUUUUUUUUe
:)
omg yummay

Genting #3

I BOUGHT NEW SPORTS SHOEEEE :)
My almost-8-year-old-cheap-nike shoe from Venice (that location, because it was cheap),
And now the cheapest shoe off the rack of NewBalance :)
I'm particularly happy because everything else was in the range of 220 to 300+ and I am kinda the cheapola lah.

omg. I just paid my mum back for what I spent on the credit card (it was for seeki's present),
and she went:

"Oh, all of you bought for your friend one ya?"
"yup!"
"So is this money including your share?"
*already walking out the room*"YALAH YALAH I pay you back another RM15 laaaaa"
"NO need la, I buy your friends present for you"

Sheesh. She's so calculative.
[SeeKi, my share wasn't RM15 alright--if you're still trying to calculate :p]

I digress, but let my shoe say 'HI HI' to you :)

hehe
:)
Its white and pink. Its so subtly girly--me likey :)
(albeit very chunky monkey)

Ooh.. so ZhiVen got us two week passes to use Celebrity Fitness a la 1U.
So SeeKi, Joel and I tagged alongggggg. So good la. I love commercialized gyms.
Its either that or the company. SeeKi and I were singing while we cycled (obviously not doing enough if we weren't out of breath)
Our locker

hee hee hee :)

-----------------------------------------------

Went up to Genting again the other day with Joel.
Dying for the ridessssss cause the last trip up was a no-go.
c-bai-c-muck school holiday c-bai-c-muck.
SOOOOOOOOO many people. c-bai.
I think all in all we only sat 4 rides. 2 of which were the same ride cuz it was a pretty fast ride (ie. 1 minute)
*sigh

The journey up was a happy one though because we were oblivious to the c-bai-c-muck/cina-lala-ah-beng-chai infestation. knn.

my stupid hair. I blend in well with my surroundings, what can I say!

knn. Line so long.

J.G. call home!
Joel dressed so colourful! :)

c-bai long line.

cbai long line at the back too.

Sat on the pirate ship ride. We were invariably the loudest.
Because Joel is a *meow!
and I have a super scream :p
Not as scary as sunway lagooon!

Oh and it was so freakin hot. I didn't need my jacket.. and i *needed an ice cream :)

J.G call home, again!

SO ARTISTIC!
fyapowaaaa!

Our last ride 3rd and last ride that we rode twice!
Then; LUNCH TIME!!! :)

I just don't like white coffeeee! I dont know why I did 3 years ago.

DONT GO TO GENTING UNTIL SCHOOL HOLIDAYS ARE OVER!

I THINK:
That they should waive the school (specifically secondary school) holidays.
They invade everything! (genting, malls, etc) like they've never been let out all at once before.
RAWR!
go back to school.

Of Japanese food

Lou came over for a week cuz my sister was out of town.
Toffee is not territorial at all (sheeeash!)
Basically lou stole his ball, and all he did was stand there and stare at her while she
*lick lick lick bite bite bite
And toffee loves his ball, more than anything. Though, not more than food (you know he's family when he has traits that run in the family)
I eat so much Japanese food. I weigh so much.
Do you see the plausible relation?
I thought Japo food was meant to keep you...slim?
hahaha
I am so grotesquely obese :'( urgh.

Forgot about these pictures:
Marcus birthday dinner @ NinjaJones a la Mid Valley

The RM12 soft shell crab temaki...was OK.
My most-likely-expensive-dish (salmon rice?) ..was OK.
The FREE green tea...was samesame.

Haiyah.

Marcus' surprise present. hehe
(no pictures of the birthday boy. no surprise there)

------------------------------------------

After the kampachi buffet, MORE Japanese food. (Surprised)

Sushi Zanmai @ 1U
(which I will keep saying, because it never gets old; Mucho better than the SZ at Gardens MV.

Oh and totally unrelated, but related because it happened on the same day;
Claypot rice @ Restoran Busy Corner, DJ
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Then before Marcus left, we (Sam, Marc and I) had Ichiban Boshi a la Pavilion.
Then after Marcus left, I had Ichiban Boshi again with Zhi Ven, Nikki and Joel.
fattay, AhVen, little me :), joeliepoopie

Ichiban Boshi. apparently I CAN get sick of it.
Very proud to say that their soft shell crab temakis are pretty filled up with rice now :)

Thanks to Marcus' six stamps, we had all the free stuff (agedashi tofu, some chicken special dish from the 'special' menu)

SoreCow Zhi Ven. Its quite funny watching him wait at the conveyor belt for a good 5 minutes and then moving to another area waiting and waiting for the RM2.50 plates to come by :p

And if that wasn't enough.....
Dessert at Ministry Of Food.
Only fattay nikki and Zhiven ate :)

-----------------------------------------------------------
Okay, so maybe we were sick of it, but we keep coming back for moreeeeee :)
This time we claimed our free california roll and the chicken dish thing.

Happy Joel :)

Right side: freeeeeeee california temaki.

So Marcus eats @IB alot. Like ALOT.
So he has collected a full card of stamps. He spun on this spinning wheel thing (see pic below)
And if his 'prize' could get more loser.. well it could, but FREE 6 STAMPS on a reward card...is pretty darn low. hahahaaa
*sucker.
Anyway, I spun (thanks to the 6 free stamps, I finished my 'loyalty card' too):

HELLOOOOOOO TOP PRIZE :)

RM 120 Voucher, yo!

to reiterate (Just in case you do decide to read my blog, dear marcus)

ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY RINGGIT

What can I say, besides they tried to be really sly by asking me to push from the thing starting at RM120. hee hee

My sister's boyfriend (Andrew!) is in town. So we might make a family trip down :)
*sick of ichiban boshi
------------------------------------------------------------
THAT SAME DAY!
Joel and I met Hsein Wei and Chris for dessert at Godiva :)
:)

Joel's choclatey drink

Because I learnt from my Genting trip, not to have hot chocolate EVER. Its nice but it gets a little too rich and sickening... I had Cappucino

Their sugar is so cool, yo!
Oh yeahhh.
Well Hsein Wei just asked for a casual dessert day out but I later found out it was his BIRTHDAY! la la la.
HAPPPPPYYY BIRTDAY Hsein Wei.
Hsein Wei is wayy old too :p
Totally let him order the cake he so wanted to order even though he was pretty reluctant to order the dark choc and white choc one because I said I didn't like either. The minute I said, order what you like lah
*ZOOP. (do you understand?haha)
Dark choc cake with truffle on top: SUPER - doesn't taste like dark choc (i didn't sneeze!)
white choc with truffle: sucks amazing balls.

Joel eating the 80%dark choc that came with my capp. Apparently he doesn't waste. *yuck

Deciding what sugar to take.
I know, my face looks like the moon.

Joel rudely started playing his PSP at the end of the meal.
[why you never download games for meeeee *cry]

OMG!
I know what I sound like when I say this;
I WATCHED MY DOCTOR TAKE BLOOD FROM MY ARM THE OTHER DAY.
proud much?
:)
I crumble at the sight of needles.
